I like to believe that we are drawn towards what is meant for us and for me that was my love for mental health and anything psychology related. Since I was young, I became a part of the mental health community, advocating and educating myself and others all while experiencing my own hardships and therapy which fueled my desire to help others in any way I could.

My background in Forensic Psychology and Counselling Psychology has only added to that innate nature of wanting to support others by creating a safe environment to explore emotions and vulnerabilities during various obstacles in life. Overtime, I have had the privilege of working with a diverse group of individuals including teens and couples.

I pride my approach on warmth and empathy while offering a welcoming environment where you can feel heard, supported and reminded that no one is ever alone. When worry, anxiety and stress take over it feels like we become stuck in time and drained and that’s where I strive to explore your strengths, fears and stressors to help you regain that sense of control and empowerment.

After personal experience in the therapy space, I have recognized the unique and powerful healing art can provide. Studies have shown the mental and physical benefits of art therapy in providing a creative outlet for emotion regulation, expression as well as aiding in creating new neural pathways. Art can also facilitate and support a different form of communication and self reflection. My approach is person-centered and draws on themes from IFS, attachment, mindfulness and strengths based. I have experience working with teens and adults who have a history of sexual trauma. I offer a space for curiosity, exploration and self-reflection through creative materials. Whether you are looking to process lived experiences, gain insight and reflection or explore themes of identity, art therapy may be supportive in your journey.

My journey into Naturopathic Medicine began in my early adolescent years after seeing a Naturopath. It was the first time I truly felt heard by a healthcare provider, and that experience shaped my understanding of the power of individualized medicine. I knew then that I wanted to become a Naturopathic Doctor.

I became drawn to the intersection of Naturopathic Medicine and mental health care shortly after this. Mental health care has always been a passion of mine, after navigating my own challenges and witnessing many family members and close friends do the same. My goal is to empower patients to regain control of both their physical and mental well-being through a holistic, evidence-based approach.

I have experience in treating a wide range of mental health concerns and work closely with patients to identify goals and create a plan to achieve them. My approach prioritizes education, focusing on optimizing diet, sleep, movement, and other lifestyle factors. I also utilize nutritional supplementation, botanical medicine and acupuncture to help reach identified goals. When needed, I incorporate laboratory testing to help guide treatment.

I hold a Bachelor of Science and a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine. I am a member of the College of Naturopaths of Ontario, the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors, and the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors.

My path into this work was shaped by my own experience in therapy and the meaningful changes that came through the healing process. During my adolescent years, I navigated trauma, loss, and an eating disorder—experiences that influenced both my personal healing journey and my understanding of the complexity and resilience people carry through difficult experiences. Through therapy, I came to understand the importance of feeling genuinely understood, supported, and safe, and how meaningful it can be to have space to process and heal. These experiences continue to inform the way I work with clients today.

Over the past fifteen years, I’ve had the privilege of supporting children, adults, and families through a wide range of life challenges and transitions. My work across schools, community services, shelters, and counselling settings has strengthened my belief in the importance of compassionate, collaborative, and trauma-informed care. Grounded in my background in social work, mental health, and counselling psychology, I take an integrative and individualized approach to therapy.

I’m passionate about supporting the whole person and recognizing the connection between emotional, physical, and psychological wellbeing. I believe healing is supported through self-awareness, connection, and creating space for reflection, growth, and change. My goal is to offer a therapeutic environment that feels safe, supportive, and responsive to each client’s unique needs and experiences.

My work is rooted in trauma-informed care and integrates both cognitive and body-based approaches. I draw from modalities such as Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Somatic Experiencing (SE). These approaches allow for a personalized therapeutic process that supports emotional regulation, self-understanding, and lasting change.

My passion for psychology and mental health was born from personal experiences with adversity during childhood. After undergoing counseling myself, I recognized the profound impact that therapy can have on one’s life, which inspired me to help others who have faced similar challenges. With a background in counseling psychology, I’ve had the privilege of working hands-on with a diverse range of individuals, particularly youth, navigating a variety of life’s struggles. My approach is rooted in creating a warm, empathetic, and non-judgmental space where clients can feel safe to explore their concerns, work through difficulties, and find meaningful solutions that support their well-being.
